I developed an AI-powered resume-screening model that automatically analyzes candidate CVs against a given job description to rank applicants based on relevance. The system uses modern NLP techniques to extract and preprocess text from uploaded resumes, convert both resumes and job descriptions into semantic embeddings, and compute similarity scores that reflect how well a candidate matches the role. Once a recruiter uploads multiple resumes and supplies the job description, the model evaluates each against the criteria and produces a ranked shortlist — saving significant time and ensuring consistent, unbiased screening. By combining document parsing, semantic understanding, and automated scoring, this tool streamlines the hiring process and helps identify the best-fit candidates quickly and efficiently.
